Hossein Soudipour is a retired doctor and former basketball player and former head coach of Iran's national basketball team. He was the former director of Iran's ministry of health before the Islamic revolution.

Basketball Career

Hossein was a member of Iran's national basketball team at the 1948 London summer Olympics and this was the first time that Iran Basketball team got qualified for the competition.He was also a member of the team when they won the bronze medal in 1951 Asian games in New Delhi.
