. The station was opened on 8 January 2001 and is located on the Utrecht–Boxtel railway

 and was on the Houten - Houten Castellum tram line which closed on the 14th December 2008. The services are operated by Nederlandse Spoorwegen

. The original station opened on 8 January 2001 and closed on 14 December 2008. During this time the service was operated by a tram from Hannover on loan to Nederlandse Spoorwegen. The new station reopened on 12 December 2010.
