. Lamade Stadium was built in 1959 and holds 40,000 people, most of whom sit on the outfield berms. The stadium is 2/3 the size of a MLB stadium, with 60 foot basepaths, a 46 foot mound, and after the change in 2006, 225 foot fences.
The stadium was changed in 1992 when lights were added so that night games could be played as part of expansion of the series to round robin play.
