Hybrid scale of sexuality is a table used at first to spell out the terms of Alfred Kinsey
. But later, due to editorial conflicts, Kinsey happened to be just one of the inspirational sources of this new scale. This new scale is not intended to refute the theories of Kinsey. It is true that contains many terms of their contributions, gathers some of them but also introduces new co ncepts that were never considered in the Kinsey report. When deviations from exclusive heterosexuality are present, they are likely to be much more extreme among males than among females. There are many methods to measure this sexual behavior.
