Hyun Jin Moon, also known as Preston Moon (Born April 10, 1969), is the third son of Korean spiritual leader Sun Myung Moon
and his wife Hak Ja Han
. Hyun Jin Moon took part in the 1988 and 1992 summer Olympic Games
as a member of the South Korean equestrian
team. He graduated from the Harvard Business School
with an M.B.A. in 1998. Also that year he became the vice-president of the Family Federation for World Peace and Unification International. He is married to Rev. Chung Hwan Kwak
's (Sun Myung Moon's assistant and church leader) daughter, Jun Sook Kwak. (In Korean culture

In 2006, Moon fired several editors of The Washington Times who had been linked to far-right and racist views. In 2008, he hired John F. Solomon as executive editor of the Times. Solomon is known for his work as an investigative journalist for the Associated Press
and the Washington Post, and was most recently head of investigative reporting and mixed media development at the Post. Solomon led the Times toward a more mainstream position which drew criticism from some conservatives. Prospect
magazine said: "The Republican right may be losing its most devoted media ally." In 2010, Sun Myung Moon and a group of former Washington Times editors purchased the paper from News World Communications, for $1. This ended a stalemate that had been threatening to shut down the paper completely.
