This season is the first to have a major plot twist, as it sees Sam and Freddie sharing their first kiss, just to avoid the frustration of not having a first kiss. This is followed by them becoming somewhat closer; i.e.: finishing each other's sentences and sharing same interests, possibly due to some after-effects, including awkwardness, from the kiss.

Episodes

• This season originally consisted of 45 episodes, however this order was split and the second half of the season became marketed as the show's third season. This season now consists of 25 episodes.
• Starting from this season onwards, all episodes are produced in the 16:9 format. However, most of the episodes were cropped to 4:3 for initial broadcast.
• This season was filmed from April to December 2008.
