. After a long, hard, voyage through the cold waters of the ocean, only Mordred survives the journey. He is later found by a fisherman and his wife, who adopt him as their son. When Mordred is about six years old, a sorceress named Nyneve approaches and takes Mordred away to his biological mother.
Mordred is not too keen on becoming a prince, for that means that he has to be a brave fighter, a strong warrior and skilled. He is none of those things.
