, illBilly productions is responsible for numerous live comedy shows and films that range in subject matter from a rapping jelly donut, to a version of the Angel Gabriel that prances around San Francisco.
In 2007, in an attempt to get the British rapper Lady Sovereign
to go on a date with Zach Slow, illBilly productions helped Slow raise $10,000 USD on his website. Lady Sovereign accepted the offer, and Jelly Donut was invited as well. However, Lady Sovereign was less than grateful in a subsequent interview by the San Francisco Chronicle
. Jelly Donut then took it upon himself to defend his friend’s reputation by attending Lady Sovereign’s next concert
in San Francisco, and challenging Lady Sovereign to a freestyle rap battle, which she refused to accept.
