 swimmers. The ISA was first thought up and deliberated by Shpetim Hoxha and Besmir Buranaj Hoxha in the summer of 2010. It was eventually created in October 2011.

ISA's Primary Purpose

The Association's primary purpose is to support swimmers, assist in achieving training possibilities internationally, and find ways for funding and scholarships.

ISA's Secondary Purpose


Secondary objectives include organizing annual swim camps and swim clinics, raise awareness of Albania swimming worldwide, increase media coverage, participation in international tournaments, and representation towards FINA and LEN.

ISA has recently provided swimmers with uniforms and equipment. ISA plans to host the first ever Albanian swim camp/clinic in the summer of 2012. ISA has set relations with Ivan Tsanov from the Bulgarian Swimming Association as well with Goran Rasula; a Representative of the Swimstar 2000 website archivies. ISA is determined to increase the activity of swimming for the country of Albania.
