The club was initially founded in 1943 as Joseon Railway Football Club, however the team name changed in 1945 after the end of Japanese colonialism, to Ministry of Transportation Football Club.The team competed in the various amateur football competitions of the time, before changing its name again in 196, this time becoming Railroad Football Club.
