The ILD seeks to: 1. return to an Authentic Christian Worship Experience 2. seek and find True Spirituality in their hearts & lives, 3. discover & present Genuine Christianity to those around them and 4. experience the Joy of Jesus Christ in their daily lives.

The ILD believes that while Seminary training is good and worthwhile, the Pastor does not need a college or Seminary degree. (see Acts 4:13). It provides Seminary training for those who cannot afford college and Seminary schools. The ILD rejects those whose theology is not in conformity with Holy Scripture and the Book of Concord to their ministry.

The ILD also publishes some of its own books which conform to their doctrines and practices.

There are currently 8 Pastors serving in Oregon, Texas, North Dakota, Ohio, Michigan, North Carolina, Florida and Illinois along with 3 Pastors serving in the Netherlands, Benin Africa and Kenya Africa.
