of the new PSIT was constituted, with Ahmed Kotoko as general secretary, Chérif Hamid Mahamat as chairman and Mahamat Yakouma and Ali Kamara as vice chairmen. The PSIT of Kotoko joined the coalition 'Republican Entente', together with PST, BDT and UDIT.
