Independiente Nacional 1906 is a Salvadoran
football
club. The club did not register to compete in the second division Segunda División de Fútbol Salvadoreño
after being relegated in May 2007, so therefore they are inactive now.
Formerly known as Independiente de san vicente or Coca Colo.
Coca colo was team original name, the team had achieved promotion to the 2005 season, However due financial trouble sold their spot to C.D. Chalatenango
.
The owners decided to change name to Nacional 1906 and through a partnership with
independent San Vicente were reformed to Independiente Nacional 1906.
Independiente Nacional 1906 gained promotion in 2006 to primera division de el salvador, however poor results lead the team to relegation in 2007.
