, in 1992. They originally played shows under the name, 'Agent 86' until late 1993, when they renamed themselves, '"Inspecter 7." With a sound that combined all three waves of Ska (Traditional, 2-Tone and 3rd Wave) Inspecter 7 became a fixture in the New York City ska scene throughout the mid 1990's. After releasing a 7-inch on Moon Ska Records, and appearing on several compilation albums, including all three volumes of the 'Oi: Skampilation' series, the band signed to NYC's Radical Records and began extensive east coast touring. That year they released their first full length CD, 'The Infamous' which received positive reviews. In 1998, Inspecter 7 toured nationally with Moon Ska Recording artists The Skoidats
