Publications
The IES produces three to four editions of its journal Environmental Scientist each year. Articles are primarily written by its members, supplemented by contributions from experts and professionals working in the environmental field. Each issue examines a topic of pressing importance to environmental science from a variety of different angles; an expert in the relevant area acts as guest editor, introducing the articles and providing a critical overview of the subject at hand.In addition to the journal, the IES produces a monthly newsletter, EnviroSci News, focusing on a lighter dissemination of expert knowledge and the sharing of Institution News.
