1998 | IGT received an Equity participation from Galileo International and began to offer Travel TPF and Rules Coding services to Galileo. IGT was established as a joint venture between TravelPort (formerly known as Cendant), with its headquarters in India. |
2000-01 | IGT became the member of NASSCOM and started to expand its client base by acquiring travel companies which included some of the leading airlines from US, Europe and Middle East. |
2003 | Implemented Airline Distribution System for India’s low cost carrier. |
2004 | IGT introduced the one-offshore development model to its clients. Implemented the Airline Distribution & Revenue Management System to LCC of India’s National Carrier. |
2005 | IGT entered into a strategic agreement with Galileo International to provide off- shore development and support for the Apollo and Galileo Global Distribution Systems. The company focused on building framework for US GAAP, SOX compliances and achieving CMMI Level 5 Certification for its IT practices. Sets up a second 1200 seat capacity center in Gurgaon. |
2006 | IGT’s BPO Practices received ISO 9001:2000 certifications and it set up another delivery center in Chennai. The company also set up subsidiaries in China (IGT Solutions Beijing Co Ltd.) & Singapore (IGT Solutions PTE Ltd). |
2007 | IGT achieved ISMS 27001:2005 certification and a branch office was set up in Netherlands. |
2008 | IGT became the world’s first organization to achieve People CMM Level 3 certification for both IT and BPO services and got affiliated to the Indian Testing Board. IGT became the first Travel BPO organisation to become PCI DSS 1.2 complaint. |
2009 | IGT sets up a delivery centers in Mumbai and Manila, Philippines. |
2010 | IGT achieved the prestigious ISO 9001:2008 Certification. IGT selected by LodgeX to build a New Reservation Management Technology Platform. IGT successfully re-achieved PCI DSS 1.2 Certification and became the 1st Travel BPO Globally to be COPC certified on standard version 4.3. |
2011 | InterGlobe Technologies and IATA enter into a strategic alliance. InterGlobe Technologies becomes world's first travel BPO to be the certified as COPC 4.4 |

IGT has eight facilities globally. The company is headquartered in Gurgaon NCR. In addition, one service delivery centre is located in southern India at Chennai, one in Mumbai.IGT has a development Centre in Manila, Philippines.
