In 1968, Joe Stillman, then a fifth-grade student at Prospect Park Elementary would make the first of many allegations of being molested by his then-science teacher, Edgar Friedrichs. The allegations by Stillman, and other boys went unheeded by both Robert Castle, the then-Prospect Park principal, and the ISD superintendent.
