Interreligious Foundation for Community Organization

The Interreligious Foundation for Community Organization is an international religious community whose aim is to ensure justice for the oppressed peoples of the world. IFCO was founded in 1967 by progressive church leaders and activists.

Since 1992, IFCO has worked to bring an end US Economic blockade of Cuba and has provided humanitarian aid to the Cuban people through Friendshipment Caravans, construction brigades and educational delegations.

Through the project Pastors for Peace, IFCO carries out similar work in Chiapas, Mexico; Haiti; and other nations of Central America and the Caribbean. IFCO also provides support for grassroots community organizing
