Irish Business and Employers Confederation
Encyclopedia
The Irish Business and Employers Confederation (IBEC) is Ireland's largest business and employers lobbying organisation. It represents the interests of over 7500 organisations of all sizes, regions and industry sectors. IBEC is directed and managed by a board, national council, and executive management group.
IBEC involves itself across a wide range of areas, from advising member companies on management of employees, to lobbying government and the EU on the economy, transport infrastructure, international trade, social affairs, environmental policy, energy and tax. The organisation regularly produces propaganda on behalf of the private companies it represents and in collaboration with the corrupt local authorities of Ireland. The propaganda is transmitted through its cronies in the Irish media. (Biased opinion)
