Irishtown Stadium

Irishtown Stadium was originally built in the 1950s by Shelbourne FC, a football club in the League of Ireland
. Shels however only spent one season (1955/56) playing competitive first team matches there due to lack of spectator facilities.
The stadium was renovated in 2002 is now run by the Dublin City Council
and caters for athletics and amateur football clubs.
