He discovered his passion for theatre at the age of 16 when he successfully auditioned for the National Youth Theatre

At one time he ran his own theatre company and he was soon working with some of the most innovative and prestigious companies on the London scene, collaborating with directors such as Rufus Norris

In 2001, after 12 years almost exclusively working in theatre he landed the role of "Luigi Vampa" in the 2002 film version of The Count of Monte Cristo
