JCI Norway

JCI Norway is the national non-political and non-sectarian youth service organization, part of JCI Junior Chamber International
.
It is an international community
of citizens between the ages of 18 to 40 with the aim and purpose of creating positive changes in the world.
Junior Chamber Norway officially became a member of Junior Chamber International
in 1958. JC Oslo was the only local organization until 1961. JC and JCI Norway was one and the same association.
JC Bergen was established in 1961 and became the second local organization. Afterwards JC Trondheim, JC Lillehammer, JC Haugesund, JC Kristiansand and JC Aalesund were established in 1962. In National Congress in Gjøvik in 1974 there were 53 local organizations and JC Mandal became 54th straight after congress. Today there are 12 local organizations in JCI Norway.
