Brewer earned his Bachelor and Masters Degree from the University of Minnesota by age 22 while playing college football. He joined Sigma Phi Epsilon Fraternity at the University of Minnesota during his senior year and is currently an active supporter of the Shriner Hospitals.
In his first year Brewer played in 15 games with one start as a rookie. He led the team with 26 special teams tackles and also had five special teams tackles vs. Buffalo, which tied him for second-most in a game in team history and the most special teams tackles in a game since Harold Morrow's five vs. Tampa Bay. He started for the first time in his career in the season finale at Detroit and posted six tackles and a pass defensed.
The following year, Brewer played in six games for the Vikings. He was inactive for the first three games of the season after suffering a chest injury in preseason, However despite this he had a season high two special teams tackles vs. Denver and blocked a Jeff Feagles punt vs. the Giants, which was the Vikings’ first blocked punt since Mike Merriweather in 1989. He was placed on injured reserve (11/12) with a torn pectoral muscle.
Not letting lesion affect him, Brewer continued to play at an outstanding level on special teams. Saw action in 13 games, missing three games (at Arizona, vs. Atlanta, vs. Philadelphia) with a leg injury and was second on the team in special teams tackles with 19 (16 solo).
In 2006, Brewer played in just six games with the Eagles but finished tied for fifth on the team with 15 special teams tackles and twice led the team with four special teams tackles.[1]

Serving as the Chairman of the United Nation’s Millennium Development Goals Awards Athletes and Artist Committee (www.mdgawards.org/), Chairman of Peace and Sport USA – a global initiative under the High Patronage of Prince Albert II of Monaco (www.peace-sport.org), Advisory Board Member of the African Development Corporation (www.african-development.com) and working closely with the Inter-American Development Bank, United Nations Development Programme and the China World Peace Foundation are a few of Jack Brewer’s international activities. Additionally, he was the director for the NFL Players for Obama (2008). Mr. Brewer also attended a policy forum and reception for the United States Chiefs of Mission to the Western Hemisphere on behalf of JBF Worldwide, and recently served as a keynote speaker at the 2010 Peace and Sport International Forum in Monaco. Furthermore, Jack was the recipient of the prestigious 2010 Upliftment Jamaica Humanitarian Award and was invited to speak as a keynote speaker at the SportBusiness Sport and Social Responsibility Summit 2011 in London.
Jack Brewer has completed Executive Business Programs at Harvard School of Business (2005) and the Wharton School of Business (2006). He is currently enrolled at Columbia University working towards a Master’s Degree from the School of International and Public Affairs in Public Policy with a focus on Finance and Management. College career
Brewer played Division I college football at Minnesota and finished his career with 155 tackles, the fourth highest total in school history. He spent time playing both sides of the ball between safety and wide receiver throughout his collegiate career, making him a duel-threat on the field. He was a first-team All-Big Ten Conference selection by the media and honorable mention All-Big Ten pick by the coaches as a senior, and also earned the Carl Eller Award as the team's most outstanding defensive player and the Paul Giel Award for unselfishness team play. He was selected to play in the East-West Shrine Game and the Senior Bowl. Brewer started ten games at free safety and one at strong safety in his first full season on the defensive side of the ball. He led the Big Ten in tackles per game with 14.1. He averaged over 16 tackles a game in Big Ten play to also lead the conference. He moved to wide receiver as a junior after spending his sophomore season at free safety. Brewer was third on the team with 22 catches for 286 yards. He was forced to sit out the 1998 season under NCAA rules as a transfer student. He played wide receiver during his freshman year at Southern Methodist University before transferring to Minnesota and had 19 receptions for 352 yards and four touchdowns.Brewer earned his Bachelor and Masters Degree from the University of Minnesota by age 22 while playing college football. An exceptional special teams player, Brewer was originally signed by the Minnesota Vikings as a rookie free agent in 2002. He spent two years with the Vikings before joining the New York Giants and Philadelphia Eagles for one season each.
