Jambavati is the only daughter of the king-bear Jambavan. Her story is told in the tenth book of the Bhagavata Purana
. She received the famous "Syamantaka Jewel" (Samanthakamani) as a gift from her father and she married to Lord Krishna
and occupied the third most prominent position of his eight principal queens in Dwaraka.
