. In 1968, he married Diane Mary Breen. He was employed by the Bank of Nova Scotia from 1967 to 1968 and then worked for the Nova Scotia Department of Mines and Department of Mines and Energy until his election to the provincial assembly in 1998. DeWolfe retired from politics in 2006.
