Jamestown Township covers an area of 23.62 square miles (61.2 km²); of this, 3.01 square miles (7.8 km²) or 12.73 percent is water. Lakes in this township include Barton Lake, Big Otter Lake, Failing Lake, Green Lake, Hog Lake, Jimmerson Lake, Lake Charles West, Lake Lonidaw, Lake Minfenokee, Little Otter Lake, Lone Hickory Lake, Long Beach Lake, Marsh Lake, Middle Basin, Seven Sisters Lakes, Snow Lake and Upper Basin. The stream of Follette Creek runs through this township.
