. The result was American Hi-Fi’s self-titled debut on Island Records. Released in 2001 to critical acclaim, the album debuted at No. 1 on the Heatseekers chart in the March 17, 2001 issue of Billboard Magazine. “Flavor of the Weak,” the group’s first single, was a top 40 hit.

The band has released 3 albums to date. A 4th album is complete, with a planned 2010 release.
