In 2011, Rickers announced that he would launch an audacious bid to set the Guinness World Record for conducting the most television interviews in 24 hours. The television presenter is hoping to interview 50 celebrities in order to raise money for children's charity Unicef.

Rickers is appealing to members of the public to support him with sponsorship as well as tip-offs about where celebrities might be.
