. Dooku offered his foes a chance to surrender but was flatly rebuffed by a late-arriving Jango. The casualties on both sides were heavy, with Jango being the only surviving Mandalorian. Both Jango and Kamari Vosa distinguished themselves by committing terribly violent acts on the battlefield. Vosa single-handedly killed about twenty Mandalorians and Jango slew several Jedi with his bare hands, but was eventually overcome after observing the loss of the Mandalorian army. The Jedi handed Jango over to the Governor of Galidraan, and the Mandalorian was sold into slavery. He later escaped, however, and chose a career as a bounty hunter
. He was then killed in a battle by Master Windu himself, and Boba took his place, working for Jabba the Hutt
Dooku would later reflect that "It was a misguided mission from the start and not the first of the Council
's many...poor decisions."
