The Ed Kemper Trio was an independent Art/Noise rock band based in Montgomery, Alabama. The band was formed in 1997 after the breakup of two Montgomery-area noise rock bands, Bert and He is the Queen. EK3's sound was characterized by short asymmetrical song structures, sheer volume and odd meter....

 in 1997. He and his wife Sarah Singleton currently live just outside of Montgomery.

Trust Company released their first album, The Lonely Position of Neutral in July 2002. The single "Downfall" went on to be a huge hit, climbing rapidly up the charts.

The band broke up in 2005 but these long time friends couldn't stay away from the business for long.

The band reunited and began working on their 3rd album, with a possible release sometime in 2008.
There were also two reunion shows scheduled in their hometown of Montgomery, Alabama
