sister June, along with her two other sisters Joan and Jane, also twins to one another, began performing in "vaudeville" at an early age. This brought her to the attention of studio's, and led to a small role in the 1934 film Bottoms Up, starring Spencer Tracy
. That same year she was selected as one of thirteen girls chosen to be "WAMPAS Baby Stars
", the last year that "WAMPAS" made such selections.
Although it appeared that her acting career would take off, it never did. She only had two other film roles, one in the 1937 film A Star Is Born
, and the other in the 1940 film Girl from Avenue A, both of which were uncredited. Following the latter, her acting career was over. She settled in Los Angeles
, where she was residing at the time of her death on September 26, 1974.
