Jeffery M. Leving

Jeffery M. Leving is a Chicago divorce attorney who specializes in Matrimonial and Family Law. He is known primarily for his vocal advocacy of Fathers' Rights and hosts two radio shows. His television and radio commercials are well known in the Chicago area.

Early life

Leving grew up on the South Side of Chicago. His father was a tailor and bartender. He received his Bachelor of Science in Communications with a focus on radio and television from Southern Illinois University

 in 1974. After failing to find employment in the field, he returned to school for a law degree. He received his Juris Doctor from IIT-Kent College of Law in 1979.

Legal Practice, Charitable Work, and Government Appointments

After law school, Leving took a job as a federal tax law editor for Commerce Clearing House. A year later, he accepted a job as a staff attorney for the Chicago Volunteer Legal Services Foundation.
