Jen Cloher is an Australian singer-songwriter who records with her band as Jen Cloher and the Endless Sea.

(NIDA) and started playing the guitar at age 21. Her band, the Endless Sea, is made up of Jen Sholakis on drums, Geoffrey Dunbar on bass, Andrea Sumner on violin, Ross Calia on piano and Michael Hubbard on guitar. With the Endless Sea, Cloher released a 2005 EP, Permanent Marker. This was followed by a 2006 album Dead Wood Falls. Cloher was nominated for the award for Best Female Artist at the 2006 ARIA Music Awards
but lost to Clare Bowditch
. Her second album Hidden Hands was released in July 2009 and was inspired by Cloher's relationship with her parents and her mother's diagnosis with Alzheimer's disease
