for one year (1997–1998), then moved to New York City
to attend the The New York Conservatory for Dramatic Arts' Summer Program. Fall of '98, Gotzon moved to Florida to work for Walt Disney World and was cast as a parade dancer for Disney's new theme park Animal Kingdom

in California and worked for John Robert Powers
as the Director of Talent and as a promotional model for Baileys Irish Cream
and Smirnoff Twist while auditioning for film. In 2002, Gotzon got cast in several independent films including Julie and Jack, where she won Best Actress. She was also cast in senior thesis short film Scenario for Delirium written and directed by Chris Armstrong, who she married four years later on April 30, 2006. From 2003-2005, Gotzon worked for Google
in various positions including HR Coordinator acclimating the Nooglers (new hires), worked alongside marketing department interviewing Google's first 30 employees documenting company history, later she relocated to the newly acquired Santa Monica
office and worked as their receptionist, recruiting coordinator and was their Southern California softball team captain. Gotzon did not receive stock benefits when Google went public because she was an independent contractor during her duration at Google.
