Jenni Alpert is an American pop songstress. Originally from Los Angeles, Jenni Alpert's powerful sultry voice and honest rich songwriting and soothing musical melodies grab listeners in every corner. Jenni Alpert has released four albums and has toured independently in over 14 countries with regularity in the UK (England, Ireland, Scotland), France, The Netherlands, Italy, Australia, Germany, Italy, India, Nepal, Canada, Mexico, and Israel. She has supported Loudon Wainwright III, Jon Allen, Kaki King, and has shared stages with John Popper, Sara Bareilles and Regina Spektor.
Her music has been featured in Castle (ABC, All We Need is Love), Lipstick Jungle (NBC, Simple Mood), CSI Miami (CBS, Breakin Down), The Real World (MTV, With One Breath), 16 and Pregnant (MTV, All We Need is Love, Damage Done, Simple Mood), The Messengers (CBS, Fade Away). Jenni Alpert was selected to be apart of the Sun Studio Session PBS airings. Her music can also be heard on Sirius XM Radio, and Pandora.
Her most recent release 'Underneath the Surface' (produced by Brad Smith (Blind Melon) features Jimmy Paxson (drums), Chris Chaney (bass), Lenny Castro (percussion), Zac Rae (synths), and Kevin Haaland (guitar). (Engineered by Eric Boulanger; Mastered by Eric Boulanger and Doug Sax).

Alpert has worked with Musicians on Call, The Downtown Women's Center (LA), Children of the Night, Bridge Point, and KI Foster Care Support Group, and in support of keeping music programs in early childhood education alive, she pioneered Art of Expression, a traveling festival of eclectic sounds, visions, and exhibits designed to bring together musicians from all over the US.

Early life
Alpert was born in Los Angeles and adopted at the age of 4. While spending time in various foster homes, she began to sing and play the piano. Later in her musical development, she learned to play the guitar and started to write poetry and songs. Jenni Alpert attended the Ethnomusicology Program at UCLA headed by Kenny BurrellKenny Burrell
