His senior year, Norman accumulated 199 total tackles (including 141 solo stops), which shattered the former school record of 165 total tackles set two years earlier by Steve Sanders. Currently holds Indiana University record for most career tackles with 444 tackles; as well as the school record for most tackles in a game with 26 against Ohio State on November 18, 1978.
