He is married with one child.

Aguilar had started racing at the age of thirteen and now has been racing go carts for seventeen years and spirit cars for nine. He took time off in 2004-2005 but then was asked to join Doro Racing as their number 52 Spritcar.

His hobbies include racing and playing baseball with his son Joey and wife Tiffany. His engine builder is JT Racing Engines and Chassis is Hurrican.
