Dr. phil. Johannes Schulz (23 October 1892 – 27 November 1943) was a highly decorated Generalmajor in the Wehrmacht
during World War II
who commanded the 9. Panzer-Division. He was also a recipient of the Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross
. The Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross was awarded to recognise extreme battlefield bravery or successful military leadership. Johannes Schulz was killed on 27 November 1943 at Skofijewka, north of Krivoy Rog. He was posthumously promoted to Generalmajor.
