John Cervenka
John Cervenka (Born September 30, 1959) is an American businessman and television personality. Currently, a Financial Advisor with the Wall Street firm, Morgan Stanley Smith Barney, Cervenka co-leads an advisory team that has an exclusive roster of high net worth clients.
Career
Cervenka’s career in the business and entertainment worlds started early. Immediately after college, Cervenka accepted a position with Coldwell Banker Commercial, one of the world’s largest commercial real estate firms. In his spare time, he was writing and performing with the premier comedy troupe, The Groundlings, in Hollywood, California. While performing with the likes of Will Ferrell
, Lisa Kudrow
and many other famous Groundlings alumni, Cervenka was approached by Eric Lieber, the Executive Producer and Creator of the long running dating show, The Love Connection
hosted by Chuck Woolery
. Lieber asked Cervenka to replace the iconic Johnny Gilbert
, as the permanent announcer of "The Love Connection." After several seasons of announcing, Cervenka was cast by prolific comedy producers Peter Kaikko and Paul Abeyta to produce and host their new hybrid comedy / game show, "Burt Luddin’s Love Buffet," for Game Show Network
(GSN). Cervenka went on to Co-create and Executive Produce Random Acts of Comedy
starring David Allen Grier, for FOX Family Channel. Cervenka later reunited with Peter Kaikko and Paul Abeyta to produce and perform on their series, “MXC.” “MXC” would become one of the biggest comedy hits for Spike TV

Cervenka is a Co-founder of GivCause.com, a global on-line network supporting charities and nonprofits. His partner, Derek Williams, is a successful television producer and writer.
Early Life
Cervenka is the youngest of six and grew up in San Marino, California. He attended San Marino High School and then the University of Southern California. His father, John William Cervenka, a graduate of Harvard Business School, was a successful real estate financier. His mother, Katherine G Cervenka, was a Registered Nurse.
Personal Life
Cervenka is married to his wife Kerry Kostlan Cervenka. They have four children, John William Cervenka II (born November 24, 1987) currently a marketing representative for Gucci, Franklyn Kestutis Cervenka (born February 5, 1993), Georgia Jane Cervenka (born June 27, 2000) and Lilah Katherine Cervenka (born October 6, 2004). The family resides in Southern California.
