Jonathon Patrick "Jon" Flanagan (born 1 January 1993) is an English footballer who plays for Liverpool
as a full back. He made his debut for Liverpool in a 3-0 win against Manchester City
on 11 April 2011. He is the nephew of QPR
right-back Bradley Orr
. He made his breakthrough towards the end of the 2010-2011 season with a string of solid performances.

He believed in me, and decided I was good enough for the starting line up, and I couldn't wish for a better manager to play under". On 8 July 2011 Flanagan signed a new long-term contract with Liverpool.
