and began his career by HBC Heemstede, than joined in September 1999 to AFC Ajax and was promoted to Jong Ajax in November 2006. On 2 February 2009 he switches from AFC Ajax to N.E.C. Nijmegen. The 20-year-old Dutch U-20 national team player in the NEC signed a contract for four years.
He made his debut in professional football, as being part of the N.E.C. Nijmegen squad in the 2008–09 season, he played his first game on 4 February 2009 against F.C. Groningen.
