decided not to seek re-election. Prior to winning the November 2010 general election, he won an August 2010 primary election against eight challengers. He is currently a member of the Education, the Environment and Natural Resources, the Judiciary and Public Safety, and the Local Government and Elections committees. His special legislative concerns include public safety, education, and employment.
