Football career

After playing for the Casuals and the Corinthians, Knight joined Tottenham Hotspur. The centre half played one match in 1928 for the Spurs.

He claimed to be the last amateur footballer to play for Spurs. Apart from football, for all of his professional life he was a Chemistry Master at Haberdashers' Aske's Boys' School
