Johnny Hale aka John Hale, was a Texas

Hale was responsible for igniting the bloodiest gunfight in El Paso, Texas
which is known as the Four Dead in Five Seconds Gunfight
. This resulted in the death of El Paso Constable Gus Krempkau
. After fatally gunning down Krempkau, Hale was, himself, also fatally gunned down a few seconds later with a .45 caliber bullet from a newly appointed Town Marshal Dallas Stoudenmire
. This incident was witnessed by a violence-hardened town who were now intimidated with fear of his fierce reputation. Marshal Stoudenmire gunned down three men in roughly 5 seconds while Krempkau was killed by Hale.
