. On July 16, 2009 DiSalvatore was signed along with Duncan Milroy
to two-way contracts with the Minnesota Wild
. DiSalvatore will start with the AHL's Houston Aeros
if he does not make the team out of training camp.
DiSalvatore grew up in South Windsor, Connecticut
and played high school hockey there, with his good friend, Dennis Coughlin. Coughlin now works for the Hartford Wolfpack. In the summer of 2008, he was signed by the New Jersey Devils
and was assigned to affiliate the Lowell Devils. DiSalvatore was named the AHL "Player of the Week" for the period ending November 23 after scoring 2 goals and 5 assists in 3 contests.
