Jon Strauss

As of July 18, 2011 Jon C. Strauss is the Interim President of Manhattanville College in Purchase, NY. He replaced Molly Easo Smith, who sat as the eleventh president of the College. Previously, Dr. Strauss was the interim dean of engineering at Texas Tech University
, and is known as the father of Responsibility Center Management (RCM) which he helped to develop at the University of Pennsylvania. He is a former member and current consultant of the National Science Board
. Before his time at Tech, he served as President of the Bainbridge Graduate Institute
in 2008-2009. He accepted this appointment from former President and BGI Co-Founder Gifford Pinchot III. Strauss was the fourth president of Harvey Mudd College
, serving in that position from March 1997 to June 2006. Prior to Harvey Mudd, he was the Chief Financial Officer
