Jonas Quant is a producer and songwriter from Gothenburg

. One of the Swedish label Dot's leading artists, Quant released a few neo-electro EPs for the quirky label in the late 1990s, in addition to several compilation contributions as well as remixes. His first album was released in 2000 and the second one in 2004. He was approached by the Pet Shop Boys on their Fundamental album but refused due to a heavy workload. Remixes include Tosca, Similou, Coldcut etc. Quant has recently helped produce the debut album for the English synthpop band Hurts
