Jonathan Self is an author and journalist. He began his career as an advertising copywriter and founded Self Direct, a direct marketing
agency in 1982. He sold his business in 1993 in order to raise his three children. He published his autobiography, Self Abuse, in 2001 and The Teenager’s Guide to Money in 2007. Self has written extensively for the British media including Country Life
