Jonathan Henrich, better known as Jonny Chops (born February 12, 1986), is a rock musician from Havertown, Pennsylvania

. He embraced music at an early age, receiving his first drum kit
as a gift from his mother at the age of six. At a young age, Chops's parents divorced, he and his older brother stayed with their mother. From 1992 through 2000, he took drum lessons and learned many techniques from many different teachers. He played percussion in the grade school and middle school band, perfecting is form on many different percussion instruments, mainly the snare drum.
In 2000 he joined the high school competition band where he fine tuned his talent even further. During his second year in the competition band, he was promoted to snare captain. For the next three years he helped the competition band finish 2nd in the Atlantic Coast Championships. During his High School years, Chops practiced with a few bands, but could never "click" with anyone band in particular. He started his own band in his basement, but due to the lack of dedication from the other members, they had to break up. Chops Graduated High School in 2004; this is when his real journey began.
