At age 16 Josh, along with future Juliana Theory and Confident Years drummer Neil Hebrank and Fiedler's cousin had all been playing and writing music for around a year when they got together in Neil's parents living room and played Nirvana songs at first. After Fiedler's cousin moved to Delaware they replaced him with school friend and future Juliana Theory and Vesta guitarist Josh Kosker.

Personal life
When Joshua Fiedler was a child he became inspired to start playing music as both his cousin and father played guitar. Always into music, he would pretend he was in BonJovi or Mötley Crüe and began aspiring to be a musician at 15. Josh is a keen video games player and enjoys playing Xbox Live. Fiedler is a fan of South Park, Dollhouse, True Blood, Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Lost. His favourite bands include Beatles, Led Zeppelin, Sonic Youth, Radiohead, Smashing Pumpkins and Nirvana. In 2005 Josh was married during a break from touring with The Juliana Theory.Noisome
